Solventul inodor este ideal pentru diluarea culorilor de ulei, a culorilor ceramice si pentru vitraliu de la Lefranc&Bourgeois. Se foloseste la fel ca si esenta de petrol doar ca are un foarte mare avantaj - nu miroase.
Acest solvent se evapora complet fara a lasa urme, este inflamabil - temperatura de autoaprindere intr-un mediu inchis este de 79 grade C fata de 38 grade C pentru petrol.
