Description
Impasto Medium - gel medium - ideal for creating thick layers in oil painting.
To create a layer of 1-2 mm, the medium is used undiluted or very slightly diluted with rectified turpentine essence. For thick layers (maximum 5 mm) it must be diluted with Flemish gel medium.
Composition: polymerized linseed oil, mastic resin, desiccant, water (gesso in emulsion - opacifying agent) and pine solvent.
Characteristics: matte final appearance, possibility of "wet-on-wet" application, high opacity, brush and spatula strokes remain visible.
