Description
Cracking varnish - two-component - 2 x 50 ml - FINO
For any object already decorated to give an old porcelain look, fine and wide cracks:
1 - Apply the first layer of LAC - 1
2 - After drying, - (attention! - if the layer of varnish - LAC 1 - is too dry, the cracks will no longer appear - the best test is when you can walk with your fingers on the layer of varnish and it no longer sticks, but creaks), - apply the layer - LAC - 2 - and (VERY IMPORTANT!) intervene with your fingers in it, making circular movements from time to time until it almost dries.
3 - The second layer will crack after drying. Only the next day will the PATINA be applied or the steps can be accelerated using a hair dryer.
Attention! - The cracks will not be clearly visible until the aging patina is applied. The patina is applied with a semi-hard, lint-free cloth, rubbed in a circular motion until the patina enters the cracks and the excess is wiped off with insistence.
ATTENTION! IT IS NOT SUITABLE TO APPLY FINAL WATER-BASED VARNISHES AT THE END, BECAUSE WATER DILUTES STEP 2 AND THE CRACKS WILL DISAPPEAR!- THE MOST RECOMMENDED VARNISHES IN THIS CASE ARE THE ALCOHOL-BASED VARNISHES!
