Description
Wakame (Undaria pinnatifida) raw bio 50g
Algamar seaweed is all wild seaweed, harvested from the unpolluted coasts of the Galicia region of Spain. There are also cultivated seaweeds, but they cannot be compared qualitatively and nutritionally with the wild ones. Another great advantage of Algamar wild seaweed is that they are far from sources of radiation. Japan is among the largest suppliers of seaweed in the world (especially sushi and nori), but many seaweed lovers have started to look for other sources of seaweed outside of Japan, due to the radiation resulting from the Fukushima nuclear explosion.
This seaweed grows up to 1.5 meters long, being cultivated on the coasts of Galicia in Spain.
Rich in calcium, iodine, protein and fiber, it is one of the most appreciated species of seaweed used in raw cuisine.
