- 400g chopped tomatoes or 1 can of tomatoes &in broth
- 100ml red wine
- 200ml milk
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil leaves or oregano (optional)
- 1 bay leaf (optional)
- Grated Parmesan cheese (for serving)
