Description
Brazil is a true coffee superpower, supplying the world and Europe with high-quality coffee for more than 200 years. It is currently the largest producer of coffee in the world, producing a third of the total. It offers many varieties, three-quarters of its coffee bushes are Arabica. The specialty of Brazilian fincas, ie. farms, derives from their location and natural conditions, as the coffee bushes here grow between 400 and 1,600 meters above sea level, under ideal climatic conditions. The production of Robusta, or as the Brazilians call it Conillon, is concentrated mostly in the Espirito Santo region in the north of the country, in a subtropical climate. The usual Arabica coffee requirements apply to the cultivation and processing of high-quality Conilon coffee. Conilon is a particularly popular ingredient in Brazil, where it has been voted coffee of the year several times over the past 10 years. It is also popular in America and Europe and it is no coincidence that it is found in countless mixtures. Brazilian Robusta Conilon coffee grown in Espírito Santo has a characteristic, balanced, smooth, long finish with aromas of hazelnut, caramel and nougat. It is also an excellent choice for espresso and milk coffee drinks.
