Panko crumbs

Whole grain panko bread crumbs can be used for several types of foods. It is also an excellent choice to replace breadcrumbs. It consists of fibrous, dry husks and is characterized by a neutral taste. It also absorbs less oil than the crumbs we use, the food is crispier and lighter, and its calorie content is lower. The surface of the bread is crispy, golden yellow and very attractive. There are two types of panko: white and brown. For the white version, white bread without the crust is used, and for the brown version, wholemeal bread with the crust. A favorite ingredient in Japanese cuisine.
