Tasting tips: ceremonial matcha tea is enjoyed with the right equipment: a ceremonial Chawan bowl, a Chasen whisk and a Chashaku Matcha spoon. Measure the dose of powder with the Chashaku spoon, then gently place the powder in the ceremonial Chawan bowl. Pour a quarter cup (60ml) of hot water (70°C) over the tea. Stir with a whisk (bamboo whisk) until it becomes foamy.
If you do not have the necessary utensils for the Japanese tea ceremony, you can purchase them separately from our store.
You can also enjoy the tea in a simple way, pour 60ml of water over a teaspoon of matcha powder and mix well.
