When first lighting, let the candle burn for at least 3-4 hours to melt the top layer and form an even melt pool. Make sure the wick is upright, over the center of the wax, before the wax hardens. Always trim the wick to a length of 5 mm to avoid smoking and damage to the glass. The glass may become hot during use. Extinguish when 5mm of wax remains and do not relight.
